WW - Rolex trench watch, circa 1917, manual wind, 34mm x 45mm to lug tips, 10mm articulating wire lug width, original sterling silver hinged back case with 1917 date hallmark, inside stamped Wilsdorf & Davis and Rolex, no strap, refinished silvered dial with luminous painted Arabic numerals, 15J, case s#811797.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, hardly any oxide to steelwork; refinished dial with light surface spotting and discoloration with lume loss to several numerals; excellent luminous skeleton hands; polished case shows light wear with tight articulating lugs; crown shows little wear; good glass crystal.
